Rob Roy is the founding and Lead Pastor of The Next Chapter Church. Rob’s deepest passion is developing a community that is authentic, accepting, and loving based on the example of Jesus Christ. Through over 20 years of ministry, Rob has developed a gift and a passion for making the gospel real in people’s lives. He strives to make God’s word relevant to our twenty-first century world. He desires that all people know that there is a God that is for them and loves them and has great plans for them.
Beyond Rob’s passion for guiding and leading, he is also a talented singer, counselor, and lover of people, which may be his favorite title. Rob married Jennifer in 2020 and they have a blended family of five beautiful adult children. Currently they reside in West Chester Ohio, and are enjoying being “empty nesters.”
Brent Reed

Brent has lived in the Greater Cincinnati area for most of his life. Following his graduation from Anderson University, he’s been blessed to serve at various churches in vocational ministry for over two decades. He is passionate about helping people understand that God is real, creative, and engaged in our daily lives.
He loves movies, photography, recording and producing music, the outdoors, and most of all spending time with his two sons Harrison and Liam. They make their home in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
Maddie Roy

Maddie is from Fort Thomas, Kentucky, where she has lived all of her life. Maddie recently graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
She loves spending time with her family, connecting with others through music, and being a part of the Next Chapter Church community. Maddie is passionate about leading children to grow closer in their relationship with God.
JUSTIN FLETCHER

Justin has lived in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky for over a year. He and his wife, Genesis, recently made the move from Southern California to Northern Kentucky for a change of pace, closeness to family, and love for the tri-state area. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton with his bachelor’s in history in 2016, acquired his teaching credential in 2020, and currently teaches social studies at Beechwood High School.
Justin is passionate about his profession, teaching, and loves to connect with the youth. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending music concerts, watching movies, playing video games, and volunteering at Next Chapter Church. He is very excited to be joining the staff as the leader of NXTGEN Youth!
SHANNON SMITH

Shannon Smith joins The Next Chapter Church’s team as Administrative Assistant. She has made assisting pastors, ministers, and the church her life’s work. Shannon has been blessed to spend over 25 years in service to God’s Kingdom in this capacity.
Shannon has lived in the Northern Kentucky area her whole life. She currently resides in Bellevue with her husband and daughters.
